Scholarships
Douglas County Children’s Chorus makes scholarships available for gifted children whose family financial situation could not otherwise afford the cost of tuition.The scholarship requires an audition as well as a written letter, by the child, communicating their desire to be in the choir, and what they hope to achieve.Scholarship recipients are decided upon by the Board and the Directors.DCCC makes special grant requests specifically for scholarship monies, and we ask that those receiving scholarship funding write a letter at the end of the year thanking those who supplied the scholarship grants and sharing some of their experiences in the choir.
